An epic adventure set in the last Ice Age, 20,000 years ago. While on his first hunt, an initiation to his tribe’s most elite group, a young man is injured and left for dead after a bison hunt goes horribly wrong. Awaking to find himself broken, alone, and miles from his village - he must learn to survive and navigate the harsh and unforgiving wilderness. Reluctantly taming a lone wolf abandoned by its pack, the pair learn to rely on each other to hunt and become unlikely allies, enduring countless dangers and overwhelming odds in order to find their way home before the deadly winter arrives.

Many weird things found in this movie. Caveman looks like a pampered handsome modern city guy. Wolfs meet hyena. A man drowned in a frozen lake, hit by the worst snowstorm and... still alive..?

If you loved the Clan of the Cave Bear books,you will love this movie and feel right at home. Brilliantly done. Cant praise it enuff! Enjoy.

It is a simple story for the modern time but it's simplicity is what makes it one of the most unforgettable movie for me. The scenes were perfected with feelings and emotions where as if I was the one holding the camera while observing them from a far and close. This is a work of art and each actors/actresses did their role very well.
