The key thing to remember when watching a "found footage" type movie is to not take it for more than what it is, and don't build up expectations for a major motion picture. Personally I am a fan of found footage movies, and this one definitely falls into the "add to favorites" category. I liked this for several reasons, the opening scene, that becomes the foundation for the rest of the film. the acting is believable I especially liked the couple the group stumbles upon while they are lost. I really wasn't impressed with the character "Ripper" I don't think he was really needed, and he seemed to be trying a little too hard, but that's just my own opinion, please watch and form your own opinion.. The movie was pretty fast paced, and there wasn't really and "down time" with unnecessary straying away from the main point. my only gripe with the whole movie was that I was just expecting a little more info about the Altar itself, it would have helped to divulge into that a little more. I enjoyed the movie regardless of any of my gripes, and would most definitely watch it again or show it to a friend. kudos to Matt Sconce!
