Altar follows one family as they move into an old, dilapidated mansion. In the process of restoring it, they inadvertently unearth its haunted secret by awakening the ghosts of its dark past only to become trapped in an ordeal of demonic proportions.

This movie is a surprise. Advanced with a steady roll with a sudden ending. We were drawn in and wanted to keep watching even thought it ended.
