On vacation aboard a luxury cruise ship, Alvin, Simon, Theodore and the Chipettes are up to their usual antics, turning the ship into their personal playground, until they become 'chipwrecked' on a desert island. As Dave Seville frantically searches for his AWOL charges, the 'munks and Chipettes do what they do best: Sing, dance and wreak havoc. But they're in for a surprise when they embark on an island adventure with their new friend, a castaway who's more than a match for Alvin and the Chipmunks.

It's funny and adorable. Glad to see the chipettes in this and it's a delightful change of pace by having them on a cruise ship/island in this film. I have a few issues though: Ian wanting revenge on them was a little overdone, it could've been left out. And, once again, rewritten covers. I would've liked to have heard some original songs but that's just a personal preference I guess. Otherwise its cute.

While this movie is not as great as the first and second one i still find it to be somewhat entertaining to watch because once again The Chipettes stole the show for me! I love their cute little outfits! But the rest of movie was kind of boring by this point and the songs needed some work on them. However i did enjoyed listening to the ending song though. Well that's all i have to say.☺👍

The only reason I rated it 4 stars and not 5 is because all the other people and chipmunks were idiots and the only reason I cooperated with them, is to get off the island. I should have left them on the island to certian death while I still had the chance. I worked on a cruise ship as a pelican for one reason. A few years ago I was involved with two chipmunk scandals in the music industry. After that I actually started to enjoy being a pelican and got work as a mascot for a record company.
