Free spirited, animal-loving, ten-year-old Amanda desperately wants a dog but her Dad just won't have it! When she miraculously stumbles upon a young fox, she and her friend Maggie conspire to keep it as a pet, even if it means going behind her Dad’s back. She and Maggie bend over backwards and jump through hoops to protect and hide their new furry friend. Little do they know that the real trouble lies in a pair of shady, bumbling crooks that are also after the fox. Amanda and Maggie must think big, act sly, and outfox everyone to save their little pal from harm once and for all.
