Film about how the most beloved hymn was written. This is my late parents favorite songs and it was on Songs of Praise that I found out more about the history of the song. Benedict Cumberbatch plays Ioann Gruffud friend as they try to put an end to slavery in Britain.

So much here that I didn't know. Disturbing, touching, and ultimately encouraging, this is a powerful drama.
