In this action thriller directed by Michael Bay, veteran Will Sharp (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Candyman), desperate for money, turns to his adoptive brother Danny (Jake Gyllenhaal, End of Watch) for help. A career criminal, Danny instead offers him a huge score. But when their heist goes awry, the desperate brothers hijack an ambulance with a wounded cop and EMT (Eiza González, Baby Driver) onboard. Will and Danny must evade a city-wide law enforcement response, keep their hostages alive, and somehow try not to kill each other, all while executing the most insane escape LA has ever seen.

Typical Michael Bay movie, full of action, wicked drone shots and camera pannings, explosions but a weak story. The plot is easy to forget but the action sequences are not. Not to forget the editing and cut scenes felt weird early on in the movie though with Wonderful performances from Jake and Abdul, you will be hooked to your seat till end. Recommend this for some good time with the boys.

This entire thing is a bit of a mess, part of it feels like bad TV, other parts bad moviemaking, and then there's the good Michael Bay versus the bad Michael Bay. It is sort of all over the place while not really bringing anything new to the table in terms of story or action. You CAN enjoy it if you don't think too hard or better yet, don't think at all because it is mindless...

Horrible movie. Gyllenhaal's performance was the only redemption from being a 1 star. The plot is unbelievable. The climax is feces. The support acting is trash. Save yourself 2hrs 15mins of disappointment. By the way, FLIP THE DAMN SIGHTS UP ON THE GUNS DURING THE SHOOTOUTS. Make it more believable. Maybe next time get a good props guy and an actual weapon training expert/SME.
