In this action thriller directed by Michael Bay, veteran Will Sharp (Yahya Abdul - Mateen II, Candyman), desperate for money, turns to his adoptive brother Danny (Jake Gyllenhaal, End of Watch) for help. A career criminal, Danny instead offers him a huge score. But when their heist goes awry, the desperate brothers hijack an ambulance with a wounded cop and EMT (Eiza González, Baby Driver) onboard. Will and Danny must evade a city - wide law enforcement response, keep their hostages alive, and somehow try not to kill each other, all while executing the most insane escape LA has ever seen.

Ratings and reviews

I think that some of the negative reviews are from people who are over analyzing the story/plot way too much. This is just a great heist movie and it doesn't try to be anything than that, it is action packed from the get go and it never lets up throughout the entire two hours. If you want a movie that is full of non-stop action that doesn't take itself seriously, then you will love this.

Weird, slightly dull and makes lots of strange choices. There are terrible jokes and bank robbers with no disguises who seem to give away as much information about themselves as possible. Odd.

Awkward enforced jokes and sarcasm at unsuitable moments. The rest are usual scenes seen in hundreds of similar themed movies
