I saw this film at the 15th International Symposium on Genital Autonomy and Children's Rights, held in May, 2018 in San Francisco. It is a compelling take on an emotional issue. As a longtime opponent of genital cutting of both males and females, I found the film to be fair, but clear in its point of view. We should not be cutting the genitals of children for culture or for alleged health benefits. I'm very thankful that this film got made.

I got to see this at an early screening in Seattle. I am so happy to see that it is finally widely available! I want everyone to see it, no matter your opinion or influence. It's very non-biased and well balanced. It will stir emotions, but how many movies have you gone to knowing that it stirs feelings? Just because this is about a very real topic that is likely to strike very close to home, please don't avoid it. You may think you already know all that you need to know of the topic; I beg of you to keep an open mind as I keep learning more and more.

Wisdom teeth? Removed. Tonsils? Removed. Appendix? Removed. Ears tongue eyebrow bellybutton etc, pierced. Eyes, lasik'ed. All routine. All normal. The foreskin is not an "organ." Trust me, I don't miss mine.
