Star (Sasha Lane), an adolescent girl from a troubled home, runs away with a traveling sales crew who drive across the American Midwest selling subscriptions door to door. Finding her feet in this gang of teenagers, one of whom is Jake (Shia LaBeouf), she soon gets into the group's lifestyle of hard-partying nights, law-bending days, and young love.

Why the hell is this movie in 4:3 aspect! You know they have the technology for 16:9. Do people still own tube tvs! But to sum up this movie. I've never took drugs. Wacthing this, I now know what taking quaaludes is like! Oh but the saving grace in this movie is at the very end. Spoiler. The main girl in this movie. At the end, she burst out of the water, silhouette style, like a side shot of a siren. Dark, you can just make out her figure. And the shot pans up. Shes looking at fire flies!

Not really my kind of movie,needed more dialog, action,and sex,this music in the movie kept slowing down and speeding up. But if you like a movie on how to make money by stealing people's stuff then this is the movie for you, not recommemded for people under the age of 18 due to the sex scenes and the drug use

Shia did good acting but his counterparts are amateurs. Unbelievable that a girl would runaway leaving two helpless children just to follow some dudes to sell magazines door to door. Watched it because it reminded me of Tia Moore.
