David Kessler (David Naughton) and Jack Goodman (Griffin Dunne) arrive in Northern England at the beginning of their college vacation for a three month walking tour. One night, they become lost in the rain on the desolate English moors. Looking up at the moon, they hear an unearthly howl. They turn to run as a huge animal tears out of the darkness and attacks Jack. Three weeks later David awakens to a new nightmare: Jack, who was killed, returns to warn David that a werewolf was their assailant- and that David has become the last of their werewolves!

Saw this film yesterday, great classic. I dunno why I actually love it, I guess it is the sentiment of 80`s. Altough it is a little dated, it gave me a great feelgood vibe of VHS and stuff that is in the past. I needed this. The stuff you can find on GooglePlay!! What I love the most about the narrative is the start, it sends you in to a northern England with it a foggy hilled landscape and small villages in the countryside. I think that is the essence, and then the rest of the narrative builds on that scenery. I guess it is a Hollywood sexist thing built in to the "value proposition" of the film with the nurse that is a little dated, however, for me it is sligthly charming, it reminds me of the Police School movies or perhaps the Man with the Golden Gun, movies that made me laugh when they were new to me.

Verhaallijn is kut. Special effects zijn kut. Maar de film is een geweldige klassieker die je gewoon een keer gezien moet hebben !
