With his marriage near collapse, he's in the grips of a personal crisis he's struggling to understand. Ratings and reviews

This movie asked some thought provoking questions, but it would have been more interesting if was told from a more universal God perspective and not so narrowly from a Christian point of view. I was hoping for more thought provoking discussion about the meaning of life, but this movie just barely touched on it before resorting to bible verses. Regardless, I enjoyed the story and the characters and think it's worth watching. (I do wish I could have rented it rather than buy it.)

Really enjoyed it. But confused. Was God assuming the image of a dead Vet or was the ghost of the dead vet pretending to be the God that the reporter worshiped in order to persuade him more effectively. If it was God ,why would he use the face of a deceased vet ?

I liked the witty conversation between God and Paul. It was very thought provoking and well written. I didn't really understand the overall message though.
