This movie asked some thought provoking questions, but it would have been more interesting if was told from a more universal God perspective and not so narrowly from a Christian point of view. I was hoping for more thought provoking discussion about the meaning of life, but this movie just barely touched on it before resorting to bible verses. Regardless, I enjoyed the story and the characters and think it's worth watching. (I do wish I could have rented it rather than buy it.)

Very refreshing to see a movie that actually tries to deal with the big questions in life and our ultimate destination afterwards. Also good to hear the message that it's up to each one of us to help our brothers and sisters who may be going through all kinds of hell and trying desperately to make it through another day. There is no shame in asking for help cos we've all been there to one degree or another.

Really enjoyed it. But confused. Was God assuming the image of a dead Vet or was the ghost of the dead vet pretending to be the God that the reporter worshiped in order to persuade him more effectively. If it was God ,why would he use the face of a deceased vet ?
