Regardless of the other reviews, I love this movie. I love the paradise house she buys, I love the story line. Some might say its a slow movie, But everything in life doesn't have to be fast or chaotic. Buying this one. :) Beautiful backdrop and I love the time period.

The libertine is a great movie...how johnny depp's performance was overlooked by the oscar nominating committee is beyond me...its a truly cautionary tale of excess and depravity...and maybe the red flag that there are some boundaries one should not cross...
