amazing film from top to bottom, and a top notch horror musical from top to bottom. great likeable cast (and the ones you dokt like might just win you over from their songs) and it plays out unexpectedly a few places. and man is the music amazing with some solid lyrics. only critiques are a lack of diversity and a few missed opportunities to use music with the horror aspects (something sweeny todd nailed).

The only thing that caught my full attention was the musicals. Other than that, it was a love/hate for this movie-musical mash-up. Feeling a bit rushed with deaths of characters I loved, to the not-so-realistic blood and light gore involved made it a lesser version of the Walking Dead. I hate to throw hate on this, but I believe it could have been a little better. On the positives, the songs were great and the light comedy had me smiling from time to time, keeping me interested as well. 3 ⭐

So they wrote a script and choreography for this right, because what was that dancing? It looks like most of the dancing they didn't plan it and just said okay, dance now. Zombies are worthless until someone needs to die, then they become ninjas. Zombie blood sprays in your mouth and open wounds, but until a zombie tooth touches you you're fine. Villain is stupid and useless. Anna is good looking, that's not enough guys she's not very likable. This could have been a cult classic, instead a turd.
