À propos de ce film

This deeply emotional and extraordinarily profound film became a must-see sensation at the Sundance Film Festival. Beautiful, bright and fearless newcomer Brit Marling and fan favorite William Mapother (TV's "Lost") star as Rhoda and John, two people whose worlds collide after a tragic accident. Their intimate drama plays out against the astounding discovery of Earth 2, a parallel world that poses provocative and fascinating possibilities. Does a new Earth mean a chance at another life? Another destiny? Another self? Another Earth is science-fiction at its best -- with a mind-bending surprise ending that you will never forget.

Forget about there being a second earth. The film's long boring and nothing to do with another earth really. The small radio broadcasts and one news real is all you get. The rest is utter drivvel about this woman and some bloke. Crap sci-fi and I'm afraid I have to say, twilights a better love story.

It seemed ok to start of with but I wouldn't call it a sci-fi. There is very little in regards to this alternative earth. The ideas can be considered thought provoking but it's clear that they were poorly presented and could have been executed a lot better. However in terms of looking at it in terms of human grievance and all the what ifs we plague ourselves with it can be considered satisfactory.

The story in this movie is well wrote and the acting of brit marling is exceptional. Focuses more on guilt than it does on why earth 2 has appeared this movie nevertheless puts across theories for why earth 2 has arrived. If you like a good story and an ending that makes you think then this is the movie for you
