In an astounding scientific breakthrough that could shake the world, Oxford PhD student Ana succeeds in creating the world's first artificial wormhole. Eager to explore her discovery further, Ana steps forward to be the first human test subject... The after-effects are severe and fast-hitting. Faced with bizarre memory lapses, a sudden aversion to food and drink, and the recurring appearance of a malevolent masked figure, Ana falls into a dark state of paranoia, fear and confusion. You can only do so much with a small budget, but even so this smacks of amateur hour (or two). I Think the acting was uneven, partly due to the scripting. But...I have to take my hat off to the film makers for at least trying to do something. Premise good. Execution fatally flawed. What head-space that 5 star review came from I do not care to think about - and I love Coherence and Primer too. Bonkers.

If you like sci-fi thrillers like Primer and Coherence, then Anti Matter is the film for you. It'll keep you hooked right till the finale.

Don't waste your life on this. Terrible acting, pretentious nonsense.
