Excellent extended version. I'm not quite sure what film 'Daydream Island' watched, but 'Apocalypse Now Redux' is most assuredly an extended version of 'Apocalypse Now.' Having viewed ANR multiple occasions, I am grateful for the additional footage as it 'fleshes out' details that were left to imagination. It would be cinematically beneficial for the viewer to enjoy the film without a misinformed bias. Enjoy! 🙂

Francis Ford Coppola's reimagining of the novel Heart of Darkness is one of my favorite movies of all time. A slow building of dread as we follow Martin Sheen into Cambodia to confront Colonel Kurtz. Star studded cast, masterful pacing, artful dialogue.

"DON'T GET OUT OF THE BOAT" says "chef!" Indeed, we never should have got INTO this nightmare - that still haunts real Vietnam Combat Vets to this day! The missing footage explains the story better.
