Well the name sounded good so did the storyline. I've followed most of Mel Gibson Movies growing up as an Australian, but I'm afraid this movie was yet another flop. Just can't add Mad Max to these normally quiet villages that know their territories in the Jungle and that's it. If you like gore and running then this is the movie for you. Me however, No. Oh and the subs drove me crazy. Good costume designs but I was too busy reading.

One of the best movie. Thanks "Mel Gibson" for making it. It's a Masterpiece. A movie that you never forget and can watch it again and again and again n never get bored. Enjoy

Mel Gibson knows how to make movies! I think Apocalypto is one of his absolute best efforts.. a caution though it is pretty violent
