This movie could have been so much better if they didn't have Amber Heard. It makes it hard to feel anything for the character when the actress does not know how to and what emotions to use. She is hoping people won't notice how bad she really is at acting by relying on her "beauty". Watching Amber Heard in movies is like watching a carpenter performing a colonoscopy.

Explosions every 2 seconds. Plot very previsible. Meant for kids 6 to 12 but with concepts they can't understand. Yet too young to be fully enjoy for an adult. More like a romantic movie than other thing. If you watch it don't pay for it. Thats my advice. And like some people said. No interesting lead female characters... Pretty cliché

Jason Momoa and Nicole Kidman made the movie worthwhile. Lots of Special effects. Nicole Kidman never ages. The story was abrupt, They could have made the sea theme like the next "Harry Potter" "Alice and Wonderland" "Pirates of the Caribbean" using more wonder and imagination instead of two hours of violence and blowing stuff up. Amber heard was coarse and rough. She did well in the aggressive parts but failed to be convincing at any other emotion such as sorrow, fear or passion.
