About this movie

With a cast comprised of some of the most talented and inventive snowboarders in existence, TransWorld’s seventh feature film, Arcadia, delivers top-tier action from snowy locations across the world. The commonalities the riders share are extraordinary style and a desire to search for this paradise. Hailing from Iceland, Halldór Helgason’s mind-melting part is evidence of what may be his most monumental season to date. Norwegian Alek Oestreng seamlessly balances raw power and perfect execution. BYND x MDLS offer a testament to the brotherly bonds snowboarding forms, demonstrated by Swedish bad boys Kevin Backstrom and Tor Lundstrom. The flying Frenchman Victor Daviet lets loose his lanky style from Montana to Israel. Following up his Rookie of the Year-winning performance, Minnesotan Jesse Paul’s segment is jaw-dropping. The Manboys, out of Whistler, BC, have a way of keeping it light while putting down the heaviest tricks in the book. Southern California-based boardsport wizard Jordan Small’s riding shines outside the park in urban locales from Cleveland to Japan. France’s Victor De Le Rues’ full-throttle descents have become the stuff of legend. Together this crew represents snowboarding in all its facets, with impeccable style.

Hands down the best snowboard film in the last couple years. The best riders in the best spots with the best filmers, it really doesn't get any better than this. Whether you are a hardcore snowboarder or just getting into it, this movie will undoubtedly provide an insight into the lives of professional snowboarders. Hallador's Segment is absolutely nuts, and the up and comer - Red Gerard is featured as well. Not sure how they could have made this film any better.
