On November 4, 1979, as the Iranian revolution reaches its boiling point, militants storm the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, taking 52 Americans hostage. A political drama that celebrates the art of film-making, precisely the triumphant of Hollywood. Based on a true event took place in 1979, the movie is the rescue operation by a U.S. secret service agent to save a group a U.S. ambassadors based in Iran. To conduct the plan, the agent, played by Ben Affleck, took a refuge of a script of an unfinished story by a top-notch Hollywood movie production house. This makes the flick different and also captivating at times, especially the scene at the airport. I really enjoyed the movie and love to see it again in future.

Tense, exciting, and often darkly comic, Argo recreates a historical event with vivid attention to detail and finely wrought characters. Still I believe Zero Dark Thirty blows Argo out of the water.
