Set in the shadow of the San Francisco shipyards, a young, eccentric woman named June (Samaire Armstrong of TV'S THE MENTALIST & THE O.C.) lives a quiet, uneventful life taking care of her simple-minded Uncle Henry (Brad William Henke of FX'S JUSTIFIED & CHOKE) under the watchful eye of her domineering, abusive father Murry (Jon Gries of NAPOLEON DYNAMITE). Life changes when June meets a penniless illegal immigrant, Juan Diego, whose unconditional love allows her to finally express herself, giving her the courage to break free. But will her family allow June to live her own life?
