The first half of this movie was superb. It had a sort of horror Indiana Jones vibe that was surprisingly well done that built up a ton of anticipation, and the characters were very likeable and believable. However, the second half was pure and utter garbage. It was full of plot holes and inconsistencies, cheap thrills, and an overdose of camera glitch effects. I actually found myself laughing at it on a few occasions in the theater. Really disappointing, especially given the awesome first hour or so.

This movie should not have been rated a 4.O. In it you have a dumb broad who explores tunnels trying to follow in her old man's dead footsteps. Who talks dumb people into guiding her & follow her underground where bones are made of decorations & miserable souls are stuck in the catacombs of Paris. The movie was a complete waste of time. Quarantine was soooo much better.

So much potential glistened from this film. The concept is interesting and the atmosphere was perfect; I really felt claustrophobic at some points to be exact. I, I just felt that it was overall, flat. It is your typical found footage (well, not really) film at its core. However, I will praise its attempts to bring the viewer in. It's not really horror, but action/adventure in general. If it weren't for all this ancient bqckground and treasure hunting plot I would have turned the movie off.
