Oscar®-winner Charlize Theron stars as elite MI6's most lethal assassin and the crown jewel of her Majesty's secret intelligence service, Lorraine Broughton. When she's sent on a covert mission into Cold War Berlin, she must use all of the spycraft, sensuality and savagery she has to stay alive in the ticking time bomb of a city simmering with revolution and double-crossing hives of traitors. Broughton must navigate her way through a deadly game of spies to recover a priceless dossier while fighting ferocious killers along the way in this breakneck action-thriller from director David Leitch (John Wick).

Reytinglar va sharhlar

The idea was great, the execution was inconsistent. A female spy—that isn't a princess—gives as hard as she takes. Great potential but ended up somewhere between the gritty John Wick 1 and the hollow John Wick 2. There were some nice "single cut" fight sequences (a la asian martial arts) and the combat felt weighty and with consequence. That said, there were the usual "Hollywood" style fights with silly action-cuts that undid the great long shoots. I loved that Charlize Theron's character more than once looked vulnerable and scared of the situations she was in. The visual damage she took throughout the film was a nice change to the usually clean-cut nature of action movies who's stars are all about looking pretty. The plot was a bit meh, and the era it was set in gave it some nice aesthetics.

Well, one of the few movies I feel I totally wasted money. Three people watching at my house all thought at best 30% of the movie was good.

Awesome soundtrack to this film, great to see strong lead actor in spy genre... action and car chases that are sure to hook you in. Must watch again!
