Everyone in the film tries to be funny instead of actually making anyone laugh. It is hard to care about who any of the characters are or their aspirations and dreams due to the complete lack of character development. Then again, the movie would have to possess a plot that anyone cared about in order for character progression to ensue. The entire hour and half the film was rolling, I was waiting of the movie to actually start. It ended before it began.

I checked this out becaus e of the Big Bang relationship of Kaley Cuocco. Turned off after 15 minutes of the dullest film I have seen in the last five years. Avoid would be my recommendation.

I literally laughed out loud at the housewife, she portrayed such a layered L.A. joke with her noisy garden backyard and talking about how she met her husband doing massage...the rest of the writers also fairly represented caricatures of the different demographics of aspiring novelists. Yes some of its cheesey but for a low budget comedy I found it pretty funny, probably appeals more to writers or people who know writers or who at least read a lot.
