Over time, Arun receives a severe jolt to his ego caused by a public putdown from successful producer Manoj Sarkar (Biswajit Chakraborty) on a TV channel. Arun decides to take it upon himself as a challenge he decides to finance the movie, playing the lead, arranging for its production. Shubhobroto decides to cast his live-in girlfriend Srinandita (Nandana Sen), an actress involved theatre. The narrative of the film's storyline runs parallel to real life where the friendship between the casted actors grows to such an extent, with confessions of deepest secrets while feeling of guilt, signifying repentance. The exchange is videotaped accidentally and is leaked without their consent as a publicity stunt for the film. Arun gets furious about the leak, bars the film from being released.
