About this movie

Ava (Jessica Chastain) is a deadly mercenary who works for a black ops organization, travelling the globe and specializing in high profile hits. Ava's career takes a bad turn when a high profile job goes dangerously wrong. Ava is told to take a hiatus from her job, until the heat blows over, but secretly the head of the organization, Simon, (Colin Farrell) has ordered a hit on her to ensure nothing traces back to the company. Ava is forced to fight for her own survival.

Pretty good movie, action and storyline wise. Chastain is a good actress but felt a little far fetched with her being a "hit-woman" physically whilst still in good shape the fight scenes felt downplayed but i guess its my fault for comparing her to the likes of Milla Jovovich and Kate Beckinsale..if Ava 2 comes out i would still be prepared to watch it..overall its a pretty good watch

A few times I thought maybe this was a joke movie. The acting sucks, the music sounds like reused stock material from a bad 90's action film, John M sounds like he suffered brain damage, the scripting is... is this improv? I really liked the main actress before but now I will avoid anything with her in it at all costs. Also, Colin Farrell's 5 second attempt of an Irish accent then back to english was just awkward. Usually bad movies just put me to sleep, this just annoyed me. This film and all copies of it should be collected and tossed into an active volcano.

Good assassin movie. Ignore the other negative feedback. Good actors, good fighting scenes, good story line, although not really ending but more prepping for a sequel. The 5 stars are to average the other 1 star ratings. I'd give it 3.5 stars easily.
