"Awake Zion" unites Jewish and Jamaican musicians, scholars, and historians in a celebration of roots and culture. Kicking off in Brooklyn, the film travels to Jamaica, the birthplace of reggae, and culminates in Israel, where a sizzling reggae scene thrives today.
