小説家のロレッタが書いた新作は、古代の墓をめぐる勇壮なアドベンチャー物語。でも、本当に冒険することになるなんて！風変わりな億万長者に誘拐され、伝説の古代都市を目指すことになったロレッタ。本の表紙で主人公役を務めたイケメンモデルのアランは果敢に救出を試みるが、思わぬドタバタに巻き込まれる。対照的な二人がジャングルの壮大なスリルに身を投じ、力を合わせてピンチを切り抜けていく。永遠に失われてしまう前に、伝説の宝を見つけ出すことができるのか？

評価とレビュー

A bad remake of Romancing the Stone. The 2 characters have zero attraction to each other. It's very contrived even for a romcom. Sandra does her usual shtick. The huge guy acts afraid, which they think is cute. Oh and Brad Pitt to surprise you in a cameo. The End.

Awful movie. So wanted this to be good but all they did was copy Romancing the Stone, immasculated the male lead and made a nonsensical plot. The movie just didn't have any redeeming qualities and couldn't decide whether it was a comedy or a serious drama/action movie. Can't even recommend to watch for free.
