Raised in a remote tribal village, Shivudu grows up a carefree young man who relentlessly pursues his heart's desire. This leads him on an adventure to a completely unfamiliar territory. On this journey, he falls in love with Avantika, a Nishada soldier. To win her over, Shivudu takes on the dangerous mission of rescuing Devasena from the tyrant King Bhallaladeva. Shivudu manages to free Devasena and during their escape, uncovers the truth behind his mysterious past.
A flashback unfolds here with King Vikramadeva of Mahishmati passing away suddenly, leaving behind an empty throne and an orphaned son, Baahubali. The kind and righteous Sivagami, wife to Bijjaladeva and biological mother to Bhalladeva, goes onto adopt her nephew and raises him as her own. This decision however, bears consequences; having to share his mother's love and the status of a crown prince, Bhallaladeva secretly grows to be highly jealous of and hateful toward Baahubali. His resentment further grows when his mother chooses Baahubali as the King of Mahishmati.
After establishing that Shivudu is in fact the son of Baahubali and Devasena, the film ends in a cliff-hanger, leaving the audience wondering about the death of Baahubali. (CBFC UA DIL/2/67/2015-HYD)

Calificaciones y opiniones

With parts from different places the movie was like Frankenstein's monster. Palace looked liked it was copied from Prince Of Persia (the game). Bits of actions copied from western films. War scene looked as if copied from The Red Warrior (Chinese or Japanese Film don't exactly remember).... Never found out how the protagonist fell in love with the rebellion clans girl (well the reason of the mask coming down the waterfall seemed stupid to me). But overall I love the music when the guy went up the waterfall

Without any doubt this is the best movie in terms of production values and graphics in contemporary Indian cinema. Also I'd like to highlight the aspect of 1st half vs 2nd half. Some said the 2nd had real content and 1st is time pass. For one, my mother preferred the simple 1st half over the war - centric later half. What it means is that various elements in the movie (like the romance episode, which many said was silly) was liked by many others. So it is upto the director to maintain a balance.

Firstly the part 1 cost is 130+ crores including some part 2 scenes but not 200 or 250... Even though nothing special to say about story but the way Rajamouli sir has narrated is simply outstanding. The dull CGI in some scenes may due to the time constraints and regarding the first half romantic track and songs in between is due to the director vision of making movie for all type of audiences that's why it is has got huge response irrespective of the type of audiences..
