Manikyam (Rajnikanth) is an humble auto driver who helps people and needy. He also wants to keep away from unnecessary fights, quarrels etc. His main ambition is to bring up his brother and sisters with flying colors. Based on unexpected twists to the story, the movie shows that Manikyam was actually once a Don named Manik Baashha in Bombay. Why & how did he become an auto-driver? I haven't rented this movie because its dubbed into Telugu. I don't speak either Tamil or Telugu, but liked to enjoy this movie in its original essence.

It's an awesome classic movie with a solid restoration, but where's the Tamil??? I'm not going to pay for a Telugu dub! Thousands more people would buy this!
