A beautiful film with an astonishing feast at the centre. It builds slowly, so will not be everybody's cup of tea, but the back story of the various characters and the development of the feast are superb. I saw this at the cinema and have never forgotten the impact of the imagery used. A memorable film worthy of being watched over and again.
