A neurotic, sex-starved New York gadget-tester tries to make it with a political activist but is jilted, and ends up in a revolution south of the border...and, as fate would have it, winds up as president of the banana republic of San Marcos. He returns to the United States, is unmasked as a fraud, is tried for subversion and winds up marrying the activist!

One rare germ, hilarious, a very intelligent comedy about how crazy the world used to be. It has historical perspective. Beautifully put together by Woody.
