A great movie overall wonderfull performance's by Jack Nichson and Michael Keaton I also love the classic backdrops and amazing score by Danny Elfman the reason it misses a five star rating is compared to later Batman movies there is not enough action and most charecters are very one dimensional still I belive this is one of Tim Burtons greatest films and delivers everything you want from a 1980s take on a Batman film

GREAT movie overall. Phenomenal performances by the cast especially the leads. Jack Nicholson is superb as the clown prince of crime. Both maniacal and witty. Michael Keaton is equally talented as the caped crusader. Both dark and tortured. Hands down one of my favorite adaptations of Batman.

Best Batman movie ever made! As the Batman movies got made throughout the years from that point on they just got lame & stupid!
