The DC animated films can be hit-or-miss, with clunky dialogue and weird story choices, but this is easily the best so far. Some voice-acting was stilted here-and-there(though substantially better than most DC animated films), and one flashback scene was a bit jarring and out of place, but those are my only complaints. Very good overall.

4, almost 5 stars for an excellent take on the Batman animated world. Loved almost every bit of this, missed 5 stars because I felt some of the storyline was a bit rushed and not fleshed out as well as he could have been. However if you love seeing the other Bat-characters shine this is the movie for you. It really hits the mark on showcasing some of the supporting characters from the Batman franchise. It feels like it fits very well into the DC animated world with the JLA films and such. Certainly worth a rent and possibly a purchase if you love collecting the Batman animated films.

The story had pacing issues, the big reveal wasn't a surprise, and I found myself completely out of the story during the action climax. I am a fan of Grayson as Nightwing as well as when he is Batman but that couldn't keep me interested in the story for long. On the positive side the animation is quite good as is the voice acting. Unfortunately, the script just wasn't on par.
