Not the best of the DC animated movies, but definitely not the worst. Great story, but the writing and voice acting were both hit-and-miss, and both Nightwing and Alfred were underused - they were mostly there to provide dialogue for the viewer to latch on to while Batman was silently being Batman, but they didn't really say much that moved the story forward. This whole story could have been told without dialogue at all. Which makes it even better that the art style was so good and the exposition was minimal and largely animated, rather than spoken. Maybe I could ask for a better Batman movie, but for every Son of Batman I get, I'll also get a Batman and Harley Quinn. I'm definitely not disappointed.

Wow, first movie about my favorite superhero. Watched this when I was 4 and watching it again was even better. The fact that it's a revenge story of the Joker and Jason is jut like WUHHH it's awesome. Nobody ever even tries to kill the Joker. Like the cops when he's standing on the truck trying to blow up black masks gang nobody ever even tried to shoot him. And the fact that he is in a game now is so cool to think about and playing the story yourself. It's just amazing.

Batman gets top billing in the title, but this is all about the failure of Batman to protect the 2nd Robin, Jason Todd, who is the real star of the story. The torture Batman puts himself through pales in comparison to Todd's transformation to the Red Hood. For those of you who always thought that any iteration of Robin was corny, watch this and it will change your opinion forever. The story is expertly done despite the short running time of the film.
