Just for the record, this is not a movie for children. People get killed in it, and the violence in general is way over the top for what is mostly popularized as children's properties. As a 40-year old man who grew up loving both character sets in this film, I am already disgusted by their portrayal within the first 15 minutes. It seems to me that PG-13 is a little light, the bloody ninja star through the head pushes it to an R for me. This isn't why I purchased this movie.

I really enjoyed this movie. if you are a fan of the Ninja turtles or Batman you will definitely enjoy this movie. there are some questionable moments, regarding violence, so keep in mind before you show this to anybody under 12. Not too gruesome, but definitely not for children. The tone of the movie definitely leaned a lot more towards the Ninja turtles with the light-hearted story and the comedy aspect, even dragging Batman into some of the funnier moments. Animation was merely okay.

This was a decent animated movie although it was a little goofy for a batman film but just the right amount of goofy for the turtles. Animation was different, not bad, but definetly different if your used to the normal batman movie art style. Plot was prettt good; made sense considering the mash-up. Will totally watch a sequel should one be released (there is a bit of a sequel setup). Had fun watching it, and isnt that all that matters?!
