I was expecting some good choreography and some good music to go with the choreography. Something atleast close to movies like you got served or the step up series. But when they are dancing its beeing narrated and the beats/song do not go with the dancing. And it felt like i was watching a gymastic event being narrated by a judge.

Go watch the incredible documentary about the actual Battle of the Year competition. It has more heart than this. Real people, doing what they love to do, and struggling with real things. amazing film. What you have here is just an attempt to make some money and publicity off of a good name.

i can understand why it got a 6% on rotten tomatoes. but i liked it! you see what everyone goes through throughout the movie, and overall the whole movie is good. very underrated
