Über diesen Film

Anne Hathaway's (The Devil Wears Prada, The Princess Diaries) radiant performance as a young, love-struck Jane Austen in the romantic comedy Becoming Jane is even more luminous on Blu-ray. In this extraordinary format, the untold romance that inspired her novels is more captivating, the wit sharper, her private world more vivid. When the dashing Tom Lefroy (James McAvoy, The Last King Of Scotland), enters Jane's life, he offends the emerging writer's sense and sensibility. Soon their clashing egos set off sparks that ignite a passionate romance and fuel Jane's dream of doing the unthinkable - marrying for love. Also starring the acclaimed Maggie Smith, James Cromwell and Julie Walters, the enchanting and imaginative Becoming Jane form Miramax Films brings all the pride and prejudice to exuberant life in Blu-ray High Definition.

It is a beautiful love story! Soul mates kind with the tragic true life twist to rip the heart out of you. I loved it and hated it all at the same time. Beautiful acting though, just wonderful. It pulls you into their lives. It's all about love in many forms and sacrifice that comes with the real thing rather than story books.

I absolutely Love this movie!!!! Movies based on this century are a definite interest to me. I Love the romance and the comedy of this film. Most definitely an all time favorite also including Pride and Prejudice, The Duchess, Antonement and Iron Jawed Angels. !! Not to mention James McAvoy is sooooo flipping handsome and sexy in this movie. Haha!!

Loved Anne Hathaway and James McAvoy opposite each other, A+ casting, good chemistry on screen. But, always makes me cry!
