Romantikerna Jesse och Celine har haft en relation till och från i två sekel, nu har de stadgat sig och fått två barn. Deras konversationer flyter visserligen lika lätt som de alltid gjort, men under en Greklands-semester ställs de inför frågan: vara ihop för alltid, eller avsluta det en gång för alla?

This is such a slow movie. The scenes are really long with just normal talking and discussions. I wanted to see a movie but this was more something like a documentary.

After a slow intro, this movie really explodes and takes this story that much further. Warning: You have to know more than the average guy about feminism and gender equality to anticipate their responses (and suggest other ways of action for Jesse) in in this one. However, it also is firmly set in a strictly binary and biological perspective on male and female for a good part of the movie, so I guess any ape can see it. As in all Before-movies the absolute final line or lines are pivotal. These final lines are not optimal, assuming Jesse is woke. Which he isn't. Still; what else is there for them?
