Seduced by dreams of making it big, Gretta (Keira Knightley) and her boyfriend Dave (Adam Levine) move to New York to pursue their passion for music. However, when Dave rejects her for the fame and fortune of a big solo contract, Gretta finds herself alone and far from home. Just when she’s decided to move back to London, life begins to look up when struggling record producer Dan (Mark Ruffalo) stumbles upon her singing during an open mic night. I love this film. If you've had anything to do with music production the opening 20 minutes with Dan (Mark Ruffalo) are a sublime interpretation of the musical mind. Soundtrack is special and the idea of the film is unique and highly watchable.

The soundtrack is great, Adam Levine's acting is served up with a large slice of ham, but Mark Ruffalo and Keira Knightley more than make up for it..

Great story, well acted, and loved the music. All the ingredients for a great film.
