After he's shot down during a Bosnian surveillance mission, a U.S. Naval Air Navigator (Owen Wilson) carrying photographic evidence of a Serb mass grave is hunted by Serbian soldiers and a relentless tracker. Meanwhile the embattled soldier's Admiral (Gene Hackman) risks his career to carry out a rescue mission delayed by international politics.

This is the wackest war movie ive ever seen .if you're looking for GREAT WAR MOVIES ON GOOGLE PLAY START WITH APOCALYPSE NOW REDUX,THE GREAT ESCAPE, FULL METAL JACKET,PLATOON ,ALL I RATE BETWEEN 4 AND HALF TO 5 STARS! PS I WOULDNT ACCEPT THIS MOVIE IF IT WAS FREE I WOULD HATE TO RUIN MY SUCH GREAT SELECTION OF CLASSIC WAR MOVIES PEACE!

This came out in 2001. VFX was getting its footing and evolving around then to what we see over a decade later in movies now. Give credit to the fact, they created an entertaining combat war film. Its lighter in atmosphere but a fun to watch. Not a classic, but fun no less. :)

Generally im not a huge Owen Wilson fan, not that I dont like him, just cant stand his broke nose. But I love this film and its a good break of the mold from his normal comedy flix. Great action and effects and throwing Hackman in just makes it that much better. Watch it anytime its on TV or anywhere for that matter. Must be why I bought it cuz its a must have for your collection.
