For those who want to know why they chose this particular relationship to focus on, be serious...its obvious. Scott was the only lover to write a book, sue the guy, and publicize their relationship. Duh. I hardly think anyone would watch a movie about the lady who made his clothes. This wasn't a story solely about Liberace, it was a story about Thorson's relationship with Liberace. Great film filled with awesome actors, a fantastic script, and really cool direction.

At a time when gay men couldn't actually "come out", Liberace kept his life choices hidden, except with some very close people. This movie is about one of his relationships with the man who loves him, sued him, and publicized his homosexual side. So much amazing acting in this movie!!! I remember watching Liberace on TV as a child, I adored his music and his costuming, and never knew until my early 20s that he was gay. Then, i couldn't care less as his music was pure magic.

I really dont like movies like this, but i started watching 10 min of it and it just caught my attention 2 the phenomenal acting michael Douglas just nailed it and matt damon you always see him in action but he totally transform himself to that roll just awesome. Must see movie 5 stars. ..
