Mayelana nale movie

From lauded director Kenneth Branagh, and starring an acclaimed ensemble cast, Belfast is a personal and joyful story about the power of memory, set in late 1960s Northern Ireland. At the center of the film is Buddy, a young boy on the cusp of adolescence, whose life is filled with familial love, childhood hijinks, and a blossoming romance. Yet, with his beloved hometown caught up in increasing turmoil, his family faces a momentous choice: hope the conflict will pass or leave everything they know behind for a new life.

This film was brilliant, it was honest, funny, devastating and the characters were so likeable. It had a musical/ theatrical component to it that worked really well with the subject matter. Best film I've seen in a very long time. Acting is flawless, you forget you aren't watching real people, and the Van Morrison soundtrack, be still my heart, it's lovely.

Actors were brilliant but it’s more like a documentary as there is a portrayal of the life as it was for the Irish of different faiths but no actual story line. Nonetheless it was a very well set in the time.
