Actors were brilliant but it’s more like a documentary as there is a portrayal of the life as it was for the Irish of different faiths but no actual story line. Nonetheless it was a very well set in the time.

This film was brilliant, it was honest, funny, devastating and the characters were so likeable. It had a musical/ theatrical component to it that worked really well with the subject matter. Best film I've seen in a very long time. Acting is flawless, you forget you aren't watching real people, and the Van Morrison soundtrack, be still my heart, it's lovely.
