About this movie

Suzu is a 17-year-old high school student living in a rural village with her father. For years, she has only been a shadow of herself. One day, she enters "U," a virtual world of 5 billion members on the internet. There, she is not Suzu anymore but Belle, a world-famous singer. She soon meets with a mysterious creature. Together, they embark on a journey of adventures, challenges, and love, in their quest of becoming who they truly are.

Ratings and reviews

Anime version of Beauty and the Beast but through an online game called "U". It's very colouful and the songs are good but not my cup of tea, but for £3.49 to rent I can't complain. Prefer the original character instead of the virtual one.

Saw in both English and Japanese and both audios are AMAZING. The story telling and interpretation of beauty and the beast is by far the best. If you have not seen this film, you're missing out on a masterpiece.

So very well made, the art, costume, beautiful. I loved everything about it, from music to storyline, though it wasn't entirely an original storyline. Outside of B&B story, it had strong Summer Wars vibe. I will be watching it again.
