Upon his release from prison, disgraced former detective Danny Gallagher (Karl Urban from Star Trek) makes a plan to seek revenge for the drug bust that went horribly wrong, claiming the life of his partner and painting him as a bent cop. The search for the truth will lead to an old friend (Andy Garcia), a seductive Federal Agent (Sofia Vergara from Modern Family) and a car-bombing that could be connected to an elaborate, high stakes conspiracy. In the tradition of the classic cop thriller, Bent is fully loaded with action, suspense and enough twists to keep you hooked until the very end.

Great. Interesting plot, plenty of 'red herrings' throughout. Nothing predictable whatsoever. Quite interesting use of the dark layers of unknown people higher up in the power pyramid of spy agencies etc. I liked it, but it seems I was the only one.

Big Red,you are not the only one who liked it. I think it is an awesome movie that asked you to consider the deeper meaning of a few very important aspects of existance.Unfortunately,not many people would understand the conceptof giving up the thing you desire most because that is what will destroy you. They are perfectly content in their shallow,egocentric little world.

Bored, if I knew I wouldn't rent it.
