Originally, the saga of Beowulf is a story of a hero from Scandinavia. This animation is technically impressive, and with great actors. Unfortunately the movie looses a lot under the Hollywood regime. When Beowulf is fighting Grendel, Beowulf insists on fighting him without armour and clothes. Instead of that it becomes a story of how to make a film without showing reproductive organs. That will be Mr. Zemeckis problem.
