While holidaying in Berlin, Australian photojournalist Clare meets Andi, a charismatic local man and there is an instant attraction between them. A night of passion ensues. But what initially appears to be the start of a romance suddenly takes an unexpected and sinister turn when Clare wakes up the following morning to discover Andi has left for work and locked her in his apartment. An easy mistake to make, of course, except Andi has no intention of letting her go again. Ever.

I'd give this movie 2.5/5 stars if I could but it's honestly not worth a 3 so hence why I drop this down to a 2. Is the concept terrifying (traveling solo to somewhere and a stranger kidnaps you and makes you pretend your their romantic internet)? Yes. However, this just got boring at one point. There's hardly any action. There's like 3 not needed sex scenes in it (I'm not a prude but Christ can we please focus on the horror?). This movie needs to be cut down by like 25% for it to be better.

some great S & M action here from a couple of snotty european muslims, "young British-born soccer fans" of Ariana Grande-Butera

Wonderful movie. It's very different from most movies out now. I find it very disturbing and very sickening.
